less floor space (No need for preform storage). Since this process
does not require secondary heating, with the help from servo-driven
injection system, JASU brand PET blow moulding machine is able to
save up to 40% in energy consumption while improving the overall
output by 25%.
One of the major advantages of stretch blow molding is the ability
to stretch the preform in both the hoop direction and the axial
direction. This biaxial stretching of material increases the
tensile strength, barrier properties, drop impact, clarity, and top
load in the container. With these increases it is usually possible
to reduce the overall weight in a container by 10 to 15 percent
less then when producing a container in another way.

Shaping ability: the preform remains warm during the process, which
could present a better shaping ability, a sharper angle.
Fixed orientation: Since the preform is held constant during the
entire molding process, the neck finish is oriented to body of the bottle. This feature is useful for bottles using a
dispensing closure and requiring an oriented neck finish.
